Founder of Mira
Musa Omarzai builds software for work that happens out of sight.
His career began in critical infrastructure security, where he rose from the front line to the security operations center, the room responsible for knowing what is happening across sites no one can see at once.
From that experience came GuardView, a security operations platform built for state government facilities, where knowing exactly who is on post, and where, is not optional.
The same blind spot exists in home care. Agencies send caregivers into private homes every day, and too often learn whether a visit happened only after a phone call. Mira brings the GuardView approach to care: scheduling, GPS-verified visits, invoicing and payroll hours, in one platform built for home care agencies.
Self-taught and 22, Omarzai designs and builds Mira’s web platform and its iOS and Android apps himself. He leads Quantum Shield LLC, which develops software for healthcare and government security operations.
His view of the business is simple. Agencies care for people. Mira accounts for the care.
